FL-Sen is….. looking good?

A new poll out today by Rasmussen Reports shows Connie Mack, the likely Republican nominee, leading Senator Bill Nelson 46-37, a reversal of the same poll taken a few months prior:

Republican Congressman Connie Mack draws his highest level of support yet against incumbent Democrat Bill Nelson in Florida’s 2012 U.S. Senate race.

A new Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Mack earning 46% of the vote to Nelson’s 37%. Seven percent (7%) prefer some other candidate, and 10% are undecided.

This is certainly welcome news! Connie Mack is a good choice for conservatives in the August 14th primary. His HFA score is 86%, one of the highest in the Florida delegation. He has name recognition (Nelson replaced Mack’s father when the latter retired in 2000) and he’s got money coming in (I don’t think his Q2 numbers are in yet). I know that Super PACs have been on the air knocking Nelson for his votes for the non-stimulus and the being the deciding vote for Obamacare and they are having an impact.

Hopefully both Romney and Mack will help each other in the quest to win Florida this November. I’ve already been seeing a lot of ads already, amazing considering we don’t watch much TV,  for and against Obama, for and against Romney and against Nelson (I have yet to see any pro-Nelson ads) and it’s going to be insane by the time the election rolls around. Florida is ripe for a Republican Senate pickup (Rasmussen now has it leaning R), so let’s get it done!

PS. Sandy Adams over John Mica in the 7th CD Rep primary.

PPS Ron DeSantis for my district – CD 6

I’m not very fond of Connie Mack (although I do like his Mack-Penny plan and he’d be 10x better than Nelson). McNeil had the endorsement of President Reagan when he an for Congress in 1982. I’ll support Mack 100% but I would’ve preferred McNeil.

The PACs have been hitting Nelson hard here in Florida over TAXES AND OBAMACARE….it is taking a toll…TAKE NOTE ROMNEY!! Seniors HERE in the ORANGE JUICE STATE (MIND YOU FOR ME TOO DARN ACIDITY FOR ME…LOL) are very much against this DESTRUCTION OF ELDERLY CARE and the McDonald’s menu of DEATH PANELS!! Nelson has been clobbered over his OBAMACARE vote and hence you see the erosion in his support. Nelson has no defense and quite frankly Nelson is a WHIMP!!! He belongs some Fruit of the Loom commercial as a grape or pear or some kind of fruit!!

Nelson has no courage and he his an OBAMA TEA DRINKER!! And the PACS tying them like a bad wedding in Vegas is working!! He is responsible for his vote which will hurt Seniors big time…YES REUTERS BIG TIME….you see Reuters you never point out in your POM POM cheer for Obamacare those LIFE EXPECTANCY MODELS and PANELS that will overwhelmingly DENY all types of care to Seniors because of their age and the billions being cut from Medicare Advantage and other programs to pay for Obamacare….Obamatax and every other fricking name!

Nelson you been PEGGED!!! And now you see Fruity trying to distance himself from the Marxist by saying the Bush Tax cuts should be extended for ALL INCOME EARNERS!! Why is that BILL??? Maybe because all those Seniors will not like seeing their taxes jacked up from Obamacare and TAX MAN COMETH AND TAKETH!! Sorry Bill you been outed for the Obama Apologist you are….

Take Note Romney…..Obamacare is Cryptonite here….USE IT!!! Obama is behind here in new Rasmussen Survey Despite the Immigration Free Ride Ferris Wheel!! Scott is helping big time with blocking Obamacare here in my state…..GO SCOTT LOVE IT!! and Romney needs to tie himself to those SUCCESSFUL GOP GOVERNORS!! Like Walker, Scott, Perry, Jindal and Haley!! Explain what they have done on the STATE LEVEL he will take NATIONAL!!

So I don’t know our delegation all that much – and what I know about Mack is his HFA score and that’s about it :) And yes, he’s going to be light years ahead of Nelson.

and i am clearly saying that nelson is in deep deep trouble. obama is very unpopular here. and anyone who thinks florida is in play for the dems didnt look at the 2010 florida election results. conservatives romped in BOTH the primary and the general. and i expect the same results in november.
