On Monday, I took the time to interview representatives from two interest groups to hear their opinions on this year’s presidential candidates. The two representative are from the American Association of Retired Persons and the National Abortion and Reproduction Rights Action League.

When interviewed, both representative agreed on the fact that Barry Washington as the stronger speaker. This also led both of them to believe that this made him look like a better candidate in the public eye. NARAL representative even when to the length to say that Barry Washington is a “…steadfast, loyal and compassionate speaker.”

When asked about which candidate had better economic policy, both said Mike Lewis. They also stated that Lewis is more of a leader. with Washington being more a follower.

AARP representative Thomas Brown said that Mike Lewis had “more leadership experience,” an attribute which is needed as the leader of a nation.
