Why would we allow them to influence our democratic process so profoundly? Same for unions.

I’m in favor of unlimited individual contributions by eligible voters only, directly to campaigns, with full disclosure. You want to give? Feel free. But no anonymous donations – our democracy is best when it is transparent.
