There's significantly less need for fraud, so they can allow straight-up elections.

I suspect, though, that if Connecticut experiences a conservative boom in the future, that they'll find the truth in the old saw "It's the one who counts the votes that picks the winner."

. . . I have to show my RTA issued Reduced Fare Card to the bus driver in order to get the discount as does everyone other senior or low-income individual who has qualified for the reduced fare. And, of course, the card has my picture on it. So, I ask you, if low income people can show a form of a picture ID to ride a bus for less, why is it an inconvenience for them, or anyone else, to show a picture ID to vote? No reason, I can think of.

No one, to my knowledge, objects to the ID requirement in this very blue state.

Great post. As an election judge in Illinois, I needed nothing except their name to allow their vote. If they could say it and spell it, they could vote. Sometimes they gave their address. But anything I could have gotten from them verbally took no effort on their part to claim. Voter ID eliminates that doubt for the most part.

Holder is suing several states who passed Voter ID laws because our liberal administration knows Obama can't win without fraud. The Wisconsin win happened, I believe, because of the margin. It is harder to cheat when the margin is high. That's what we have to work toward in November.
