NLRB Extremism and the Union Agenda

Looking back on some old articles regarding Obama and his labot agenda, or more appropriately organized labor’s agenda, it is clear that thus far the Republicans have held fairly firm against these rather radical set of proposals.   Perhaps, the only two “achievements” are the Ledbetter Act and the increasing and alarming influence of the NLRB.  Regarding the former, the Ledbetter Act was passed during | Read More »

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Watch: Part 3

Just when I thought I would get a break from comments from Debbie Wasserman Schultz, she did not let me down.  While the rest of the country was watching the Weinergate scandal unfold with the DNC Chairman saying it was “a private matter between him and his wife,” she unloaded with another highly partisan comment.  When taken in the context of who Debbie Wasserman Schultz | Read More »

First, Last, Final and Only Thoughts on Anthony Weiner

And so Representative Anthony Weiner has admitted to some six online relationships over the past three years.  He got caught red handed in one- the infamous Twitter picture- and only came clean after it became apparent other outlets had more damaging photos, texts, e-mails and Facebook messages.  Whether these six relationships are the tip of the iceberg or the actual body count will surely be | Read More »

Debbie Wasserman Schultz- the Gift that Keeps on Giving, Part 2

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Chairman of the DNC, was recently in television once again spouting the Democratic lies, trying to spin an otherwise dismal employment report.  Of course, she stated the fact that in the past year or so, the Obama Administration created s many jobs.  That comes as small consolation to the 9.1% of the labor force currently unemployed, not to mention the countless | Read More »

The Ultimate, Unspoken Obama Strategy in 2012

Back in early 2008 when Barack Obama, an innocuous Senator from Illinois, began to make rumblings in the Democratic primaries against the Clinton machine, I began to investigate this fellow.  Of course, I remembered his 2004 Democratic convention speech and the fact that he was an alleged rising star within the Democratic Party.  From 2004 until his election as President, in fact, Obama’s Senatorial | Read More »

Medicare- Getting Ahead of the Story

As the special election NY-26 illustrated, the Democrats will come after the eventual Republican nominee for President with all guns blazing.  In that race, according to most pundits, the defining issue was entitlement reform, specifically Medicare.  Framed by those on the Left as a referendum on Paul Ryan’s Medicare reform plan, a more likely factor in the Republican loss was the presence of a third | Read More »

Thwarting Obama in 2012: Part 1- The Bush Factor

Victor Hanson over at National Review Onlinehas an excellent article regarding what he believes will be the Obama 2012 strategy which will definitely not be predicated upon the themes of hope and change.  The theorized strategy will be drawn around Bush-bashing (again!), demonizing Republican policy proposals, and race baiting.  I would like to comment on this first aspect and suggest how the ultimate Republican nominee | Read More »

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz: The Gift that Keeps on Giving, Part 1

Recently annointed head of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, is a godsend to the Republican Party more so than to her party.  The reason is clear: even more so than screamo wannabe Howard Dean, she represents the ludicrous and hypocrisy of the uber-liberal wing of the Democratic Party.  As head of the DNC, she now speaks as the voice of the Democratic Party | Read More »

Score One for Arizona on Immigration

This past Thursday, the United States Supreme Court upheld an Arizona law which allows the state to revoke the business licenses of repeat offenders who hire undocumented workers.  The case in question was Chamber of Commerce vs. Whiting.  Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the majority opinion in a case decided 5-3 with Elena Kagan having recused herself.  This case has been widely watched in order | Read More »

    Putting NY-26 in Proper Perspective

Perhaps the only bright spot for Republicans in New York was the 26th Congressional District.  The only thing that kept that district out of Democratic hands was an ill-advised topless photo of the incumbent Congressman on Craigslist.   The result of yesterday’s special election put only the fourth Democrat since 1857 in Congress to represent this district, according to Think Progress (a liberal website).  They, | Read More »
