In perusing the web this morning, I came across this headline, Obama’s Campaign Admits Obama is a Muslim!!!!! My first thought was that I had somehow missed an important news story. So, I clicked on the site.
There I learned that during David Axelrod’s August 1 appearance on Good Morning America, during which he “did” admit that Sen Obama had brought up the issue of race with his comments about not looking like the other presidents on the dollar bill, he also admitted that Sen Obama is a Muslim.
According to the quote on that website, Axelrod said:
“Obama is not your typical Washington insider. He’s not from central casting when it comes to candidates for president of the United States. He’s new to Washington. Yes, he’s African American half black Kenyan. A Muslim who is also half Hawaiian Christian white-boy.”
What has been widely reported throughout the media and the internet is:
Obama is not your typical Washington insider. He’s not from central casting when it comes to candidates for president of the United States. He’s new to Washington. Yes, he’s African American.”
Quite a difference there. If Axelrod had indeed gone on to say “…half black Kenyan. A Muslim who is also half Hawaiian Christian white-boy,” that would have been a gaffe worthy of widespread coverage.
The article on that site went on to claim that the link to Good Morning America is no longer available, and that the last two pages of the transcript from that program have also been scrubbed from the ABC website. A cover up and a Mainstream Media Conspiracy. What could possibly be better for Conservatives who just KNOW that the MSM is in the tank for Obama.

The fact is, Sen Obama is toast, based on substance and issues. When we allow fools like these purveyors of hate the freedom of spreading lies about our opposition, we also allow our political opponents the right to spread lies in return.
Conservatives need to react with outrage to lies perpetrated in our name to ensure the integrity of our own arguments.

It has caused me to question almost every report — and to look for at least one reputable second source before I believe or post anything.
HEY, WAIT! Isn’t that what the MSM is supposed to be doing all the time? Hmmm, I may need to rethink this whole premise. Perhaps lies and innuendo is not all that wrong after all.

IMHO, what they are doing isn’t all that much different from Germany’s last ditch effort with the Battle of the Bulge. They are throwing everything they have at electing Democrats that will install liberal Pravda-esque safeguards to protect them. If they fail, they’re done. End of story. For me, this is the only way to explain their Alice in Wonderland flummery for Barry and his gang. The truth may have trouble getting its boots on sometimes, but it always comes out in the end.

While his points may be technically accurate, they are the perfect strawman for Bob Beckel and Alan Colmes to use as they rant that “Republicans are claiming that Obama is in favor of infanticide.”
It’s hard enough to try to get the idea across that the Obama is lying about how he voted and what his reasons were without having to cut through the clutter of an accusation that uses the inflammatory word “infanticide.”
Far better to drop the word and talk or write about the facts.
