Save traditional marriage in California!

I’m sure all of you know about the hoopla over Prop 8 in California. As a Californian, I dutifully supported it. Now that Prop 8 has passed, though, its opponents still won’t rest. They’re protesting all over the country, and their lawyers have taken it to the courts, trying to find some activist judge who’ll go along with their agenda.

Without a doubt, the California Supreme Court is bound to get involved eventually, and who knows where they’ll go with this thing. It would probably help them if they knew that the voters, not the justices, have the final authority in California.

Offer the best Democrat for McCain's VP

With the veepstakes in full swing and less than two weeks to go before the conventions, talk of VP announcements for Obama and McCain dominate the airwaves. So much has been made of Republican Chuck Hagel possibly being on Obama’s shortlist, while the only non-Republican mentioned as a possible McCain running mate is Joe Lieberman. So now I challenge you to think of a Democrat that would be a good or excellent running mate for John McCain. I’ll start us off.
