is to be expected. Momentum is what is needed ,and Jim sees this all too well.
Once you "Gain The Ground", any fall back makes you pay double, or worse. The goal is 'ever upward' and in this ,We All got a leg up.

That said, 'tngal' is spot on , Re: what might be called 'burnout'.
Troops are given R & R for a few reasons, and anyone directly involved rates some.

But definitively winning does make the resting all the better ,as any victorious side's participant can tell you.

So get ready, boys and girls. The Next One is gonna be something to write home about.........

we're still basking in the afterglow of tuesday's delicious election. Give us a minute to catch a collective breath?

This was not just any election it was mindblowing. Walker had, from day one, sought to get his state's fiscal house in order. He has done it, and continue's to do it. He produced a blueprint for other governors. He's risen the bar for states, and congress needs to follow suit nationally.

He demonstrated public unions cannot hold local governments hostage to threats of "the students will suffer" or similar nonsense. And over the course of weeks and months of media attention, there are members of both public and private unions that have come to realize their dues are being wasted on the union machine but not helping the workers.

And he showed the left there are a lot of conservatives, republicans and indies willing to stand together and contribute time and money to help the cause, if that cause is just. No capitulation necessary. Stand your ground.

Not saying there aren't other fights or other worthy candidates to focus on. But geez, this is the best thing we've had in quite a few months. Basking is permissable. And then a short nap.
