The raised fist (also other names, including clenched fist) is a salute most often used by political and social activists of a leftist, anti-fascist, or simply anti-capitalist orientation, such as Marxists, anarchists, communists, pacifists, trade unionists, and black nationalists. Generally the fist is regarded as an expression of solidarity, strength or defiance.

Barry REALLY knows how to pick ‘em. Too bad he’s such a dangerous Fruit-cake. Speaking of Fruit-cakes, Dennis Kucinich is going to be at a parade on Sunday. Brookpark, Come on out and see an actual Democratic Congressman in the flesh. Ohio is gonna be Fruit-cake Capital for a day!. Should be a fun time. Watch those fingers !! Heh :-)

As someone who grew up in NE Ohio in the 70′s, it baffles me to no end that Kucinich is still an elected official. He should have been laughed out of politics 30 years ago! What kind of fruitcake district does he represent, anyway?

      Sheesh! :)

Can we call the Obama Administration a Marxist regime now?

Just like a watermelon. Green on the outside, red on the inside.

“Carbon” is the latest buzzword, since Carbon = Energy = GDP = Economic activity. By limiting the amount of carbon emissions, they can limit economic activity .

They’re not interested in saving the world. They’re interested in controlling the economy and controlling your life.

of the Cap and Tax bill is that it will provide perpetually increasing funding of the gubmint (assuming the economy can still grow at all) WITHOUT the gubmint ever having to ask for tax increases.

Simple. Politically safe. And perfectly designed to keep the gubmint rolling in dough. It’s kind of like regular, mandated pay increases for Congress. No muss. No fuss. No embarrassing votes. Just jump on the gravy train and the moolah keeps on ‘a rollin’ in…

Pretty soon, all we’ll have to do is sign over our paychecks to the gubmint and not worry about anything else. Food provided (it’s our right!), transportation provided (it’s our right!), housing provided (it’s our right!), healthcare provided (it’s our right!), etc.

See? Paradise on earth. And we won’t even have to worry about silly little things like “freedom” “inalienable rights” “choice” “bills” “money” “happiness” “liberty” or “life”. We’re from the gubmint and we’re here to help you…
