Now that right there is a classic, Toby! 10^ nt
janis Monday, October 26th at 8:48AM EDT (link)Thx. janis,
TobyToons Monday, October 26th at 10:02AM EDT (link)I can never figure out why the conservatives are told to tow the lign and vote for an (R) instead of party leadership towing the line and providing conservative (R)’s to vote for. Was Obama right, and (R)’s just “do as they’re told”?
No, we don't just toe the line.
Steph C Monday, October 26th at 11:21AM EDT (link)Inevitably, most of us wind up voting for an R because the other choice is worse but it’s not without a lot of soul searching and in-fighting because we’ve once again been screwed by the establishment.
Some don’t and vote for the D instead or a third party candidate and deliver us the worst to “teach us a lesson.” Pity they never learn the lesson of worse isn’t better and doesn’t really teach anyone anything except the establishment can get away with what they’re doing because the dissenters will inadvertently aid and abet them every time.

Richard Mullins Monday, October 26th at 12:08PM EDT (link)write-in mode of operation. I can see going with Third party but this diffidently better that. To take the apathy way, do it right and write-in a conservative.

Sounds like the subject of a future cartoon, to me.
Smoke-filled room, comments about “it doesn’t matter what the ‘Pub voters think,” and, “can’t understand why they won’t vote for Dede Scozzafava–she has such a catchy name, and she’s a woman.”
You can do better than I.
