My new Senator-elect, Scott Brown, will have finally put me in the win column after going 0-7 against Kennedy dating back to 1970. A light to moderate snow is falling right now-just another good sign.

any news on turnout in Mass so far?

I hear Dems crowing its strong in Boston, Newton, and Somerville so far

I wouldn’t put much into the strong turnout in those areas. It could very well be backfiring on the Dems, especially if polls are correct in saying that 20-25% of Dems will go for Brown.

I’ve heard that there is an hour backup on the roads getting to the polls in North Andover, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that everyone in that town must vote at the same polling place. Still, that is impressive, especially since that is a Republican area.
