I don't know which is going to tick off Obama supporters more - and truth be told? I can't say that I remotely care. Hey, it's not my fault that the Democrats seem ready to nominate a candidate who, if they had cut Hillary Clinton in half, would have ended up being the third most qualified national security choice among the Democrats...

i've been a republican since '79 when the candidacy of reagan gave america something new and different. the reagan days were not perfect but nonetheless effective and his presidency transformed not only america but the world. i find it really sad to see the master flip-flopper mcsame lower himself to the levels he has; i am seriously considering sen. obama as our only hope for respectability and decency in the world as well as our only hope for changing the status quo in this country. mcsame of '00 would never vote for the mcsame of today and sadly he knows it as well as many respectable and honest republicans do.

Describe what about Obama's experience and specific issue positions should appeal to a person who has chosen the Republican candidate over the Democratic candidate consistently in a variety of elections over the past three decades, including supporting Reagan and George W Bush. No vague generalities, please.

So what do you want from us? Reject our conservative principles and destroy our Party because they didn't work so well according to your ways?
And enjoin us to join your Rockstar Obama? Last time I looked, Obama is a Socialist whose ideas are totally contradictory to our republican/conservative values and principles of governance.
If your so-called McSame is the biggest ffloppers, then shall we call your Obama then?

Is there a moonbat script database?
Dave_in_Fla July 18th, 2008 at 5:21 p.m. (link)
Do the moonbats have some unified database with all their talking points and scripts provided for them? They never say anything original, and seem incapable of conducting a rational discussion without resorting distortions of out right lies. Its like when anyone drives them off script, they have nothing to fall back on other than, "well you suck, bigot homophobe!"
Someone should really go undercover and see if they can get the URL and password.

Obama has asked his MSM minions to stay (not part of the entourage) and act as the Evangelists of hope and change to foolish republicans/conservatives while their Messiah is preaching the gospel of lies to the remaining 7 or 8 states in Europe and Middle East.
Meanwhile, you will be seeing BO all over the news doing the JFK and Reagan things.
In short, expect to hear many more bold and lying speeches. And we will die suffering from the audacity of lies.

yet bush talks with president of Iraq today about a withdrawal timetable. He's buckling because the iraqi's don't want us there. They don't have us to have a base set up there in the same sense the English had their British empire etc etc etc (you should thank me for not using the word "oil")
Obama didn't vote against our troops. He didn't join in because there was no timing for withdrawal on that bill.
HOWEVER. Mccain voted AGAINST HR 1591 which funded the troops BUT supported a withdrawal timetable as well.
See a trend here? I kinda would like to take a moment here to ask if we all could look at these ads and read the facts before we take them as gospel. I consider a portion of liberal advertising, much in the sense of this conservative attack ad, as partial or total bullst. Is Obama an evil monster? Is McCain an evil monster? No, they are just guys making decisions. But it's so easy to turn our opponents into villains.
So please... spin spin spin the hell of out this all you want, but take it all with a grain of salt.

This is your own spin:
You're lying? Have you read the lengthy bill? With all the amenities of becoming a veteran, almost 2/3 of the current enlisted men will the military. Good for the Anti-War movement, your friends. McCain's position is simple: Wrong incentives with ominous results. The Devil here is in the details. Seems you haven't read the Bill after all.
Yeah. Check the ad of Obama's fflopping. No explanation is necessary.
You think that this election is a war. No, this is just a fight for the right direction of this country. BTW, your statements sound like an appeasement.

WELL, I EXPRESSED MY OPINION HONESTLY TO YOU WITHOUT NAME-CALLING EXCEPT FOR SEN. MCCAIN AND ONLY BECAUSE HE CHOOSES TO STAND ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE ISSUES AS PRESIDENT BUSH. AS FOR OBAMA, I DO HAVE A DIFFERENCE OF OPINIONS WITH HIM BUT I DO ADMIRE HIS CONSTANT TAKING THE HIGH ROAD. I DON'T THINK ANYONE COULD POSSIBLY HEAD THE HARVARD LAW REVIEW, GRADUATE FROM HARVARD, GET ELECTED TO HIS STATE LEGISLATURE, THE UNITED STATES SENATE AND THEN BEAT THE CLINTON POLITICAL MACHINE WITH "AN EMPTY SUIT". ONE THING I DO AGREE WITH HIM ON IS THAT WE NEED A NEW ERA OF BI-PARTISANSHIP IN WASHINGTON. ANOTHER THING I DO AGREE WITH HIM ON IS THAT WASHINGTON NEEDS TO RID ITSELF OF THE LOBBYISTS, SPECIAL INTERESTS AND CAREER POLITICIANS. I'M FINE WITH HIS EXPERIENCE AS ANYONE AS SUCCESSFUL AS HE'S BEEN IN EVERY ENDEAVOR HE'S UNDERTAKEN, HE SHOULD BE FINE. THE NAME-CALLING AND PARTISANSHIP IS A PERFECT EXCUSE FOR OUR POLITICAL LEADERS TO NEVER GET ANYTHING ACCOMPLISHED; THEY ALL HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT THEY SOUGHT OUT OFFICE AS PUBLIC SERVANTS.BETTER TO TEAR THE NEXT GUY DOWN INSTEAD OF RESPECTING HIS RIGHT TO HAVE DIFFERING BELIEFS IN BETTERING THE COUNTRY?
