The Dem's Super Delegates have yet to formally vote for their party's presidential nominee, and the Specter of Torricelli still haunts their hallowed halls.
Better that the Super Delegates realize Obama is incompetent and unelectable after Denver.

Hillary than Obama. Hillary has socialist leanings, but Obama seems to be a true believer. And Hillary isn't stupid enough to think that all we need to do is talk nice to terrorists and they'll quit blown up innocent people.

The committed delegates aren't bound to any candidate after the initial ballot.
Would it not depend on who within the Democratic hierarchy they deemed as electable?
I'm not actually predicting this scenario would play itself out given the enormous amount of capital invested in Obama, but considering the Dem's prior precedent in these matters, one never really knows.
However, it is an amusing thought, and many of the Super Delegates must certainly understand that Obama's revolving positions are dangerously untenable and will cause him to become their worst nightmare-- "unelectable."

AlGore? He's popular among the left these days, but not likely to be able to actually win the popular vote. Man-Bear-Pig pretty much ruined any serious thought of running him.
Edwards, The Breck Girl? He's even less electable than Obama with his populist and protectionist rhetoric.
None of the other Dem "leaders" have even a flicker of name recognition to the general public.
The only choices the Dems have at their convention is to anoint Obama the messiah or dump him and pick Hillary. An anointment is likely since dumping Obama at this point would cause chaos.

I think that the Democratic Convention this year will be as amusing as the one in 68, with different circumstances of course.
Even at age 11 I found it amusing to see dirty,disheveled,long-haired "activists" getting the bejeezus beaten out of them by the Chicago PD for non compliance with their requests.
This year, the entertainment will be in the looks on the faces of our politicians in Denver when they realize they've elected an "unelectable" empty suited chump (wanted to use an "i" instead of a "u" there but tried to be respectful) to be their standard bearer.
Maybe Redford is Right. If McCain wins, we might just be able to "forget about the Democratic Party" for a while.
