To wit. One of the most disturbing things about this entire episode has been not only the fact that the former Vice President's plans are so utterly unworkable, but also that there has been so little critical reception of those plans in the mainstream media. You would think that in the age of Google, a whole host of media personalities could find the information Vincent Carroll found, confront the former Vice President and point out to him that his plans simply will not work. But alas, that just hasn't happened yet.
And this is the media that will be one of our information watchdogs as we prepare to elect a President. The mind reels.

This is one reason the old MSM continues to lose market share & credibility.
They are no longer the "information watchdogs." The old MSM is a yipping lapdog. The true information watchdogs are the new media, of which Redstate is front & center.

energy czar. Imagine the impact of that.
The GOP narrative needs to embody the storyline, right now, of the impact this insane rush to catch up years of procrastination. McCain has an excellent energy plan--even my 19-year-old knows that. She posted a beautiful description at my blog today. Not only was I surprised, I was a proud mom!
Anyway, I'm doing some research on the energy/climate change topic, and have lined up a very cool interview for a post I'll do first of next week.
Glad you found this, and thank you for pointing it out.
