The aptly named Larry Johnson has posted more revelations on Barack Obama's birth certificate.

I've got to tell you that I don't know whether my head or sides were splitting after reading the "forensic analysis".

Here’s the simple summary–an authentic [certificate of live birth] COLB was used as a template to create the so-called “birth certificate” that was first posted at Daily Kos and the official Barack Obama campaign site. Why doesn’t Barack come clean with his own, genuine Certificate of Live Birth? We do not know for sure but it appears that the name listed is that of BARRY SOETORO. Barry Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro and, by virtue of that adoption, was registered as Barry Soetoro in Hawaii.

As silly as all this sounds the aptly named Johnson asks a very pertinent question. Why doesn't the Obama campaign come forward with his actual honest to gosh birth certificate?

My question is: where are Dan Rather and Mary Mapes when you really need them?

STRATFOR (subscription only) is reporting that Pakistan is rife with rumors that Ayman al-Zawahiri, former surgeon and current #2 in al-Qaeda, has been killed in a US airstrike.

Bill Roggio of Long War Journal demurs and I am personally agnostic beyond appreciating the confusion this will sow in al Qaeda until the situation sorts itself out.

If al-Zawahiri is dead I can fill you in on the left's narrative.

He was actually taken prisoner months/years ago and has been held in some secret CIA prison. Now the military has drugged him, taken him to a remote site, and hit him with an airstrike. They did this to help John McCain win the election.

How else do you explain it happening right now? Hmmmm?

McCain's Baltimore fundraiser was picketed by Laborer’s International Union, a front for organized crime. Of course being shouted at by members of an organized crime front group is not really a bad thing. I’d think being supported by them should be an item of concern.

A writer at our own little ersatz version, Soros-funded mind you, of the DailyKos tries to argue against school vouchers. Him being a history teacher in Maryland public schools makes the state of public education more explicable. Vouchers means less accountability. Who knew?
