Obama’s Dress Code for Sweetie
According to Politico’s Carrie Budoff Brown, who is accompanying Obama on his trip to the Middle East and Europe, Obama’s campaign sent out a “dress code” that especially targeted female reporters as to the appropriate attire while traveling in Israel and Jordan.Obama press told to cover up, not wear green. No green. That is the color of Hamas. Also no nail polish, a limited amount of jewelry, covered shoulders and arms, closed-toed shoes, and stockings for women. (Do they make stockings anymore?) Women must also be prepared to cover their heads.

Welcome to Obama's America!!!

The dress code thing is dumb for a couple of reasons but it's not a sign that he's some sort of closet Taliban.

I don't think the clothing requirements make him a closet Taliban either, but his use of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades for security and his meeting with the Palestinian (Hamas) Leadership may make him something not so far enough from it for my comfort?
Anyway, he idea of green being associated with Hamas is questionable at best, it seems nothing more than the same old Obama campaign being overly PC and trying to shape the event. Will they ask the women in the photo shot to remove their head dress?
Hey Dan, I meant to thank you for your help getting situated earlier this year! Thanks!

Imagine that Prime Minster from Rockistan is coming to your state to meet with your Governor. During his visit, an aide to of the reporters covering the trip for Al-Jazeera burns the flag at your local post office. What is your reaction, and how much do you think the PM is going to be able accomplish on his trip?

...way over stepped your common sense explaination of the situation. He has userped a sitting POTUS in essentially releasing Maliki's statements and attempting to influence forien policy;
Gergen and Borger have it right, Senator Obama is not the President and in fact is not even the official presidential nominee of his party. Obama's trip to Iraq is a taxpayer funded "Fact-Finding" mission in which he has no authority granted to him by congress nor the administration to engage in negotiations. His actions yesterday were indeed 'presumptuous' and violated his duties as a United States Senator.
The President of The United States is responsible for the course of foreign policy, and although Obama has the right to question or criticize that foreign policy, he has no constitutional authority to act in a negotiative role with foreign dignitaries.
His orchestration in Germany is another gross violation of presidential politiking. In my view for him to have the gumption to give a speech in Germany at such a historic location, and then film it for potential use in a campaign advertisement, it is just bad form to say the least.
His use of a known terrorist orginazation for security is another example of unusual, behavior, the list just goes on and on...

For the last 7 years we heard ad nauseam from liberals about how Bush keeps overstepping his bounds as POTUS. When do you think we will hear from even one of them on this?
