Political consultant quits radio show - moves shows to podcast
After more than nine years on the South Florida airwaves, political consultant and radio host Bill Lewis – host of The Credit Report with Bill Lewis – recently quit his morning drive show on AM 740 WSBR and AM 1470 WWNN within the Beasley Broadcasting Group.
As a daily forum for business and financial news, politics, economic trends, and cutting edge issues, an assortment of archived broadcasts of “The Credit Report with Bill Lewis” can be found on Spreaker.com.
Originally launched on AM 1400 WFTL in 2002, as the “Credit Restoration Consultants Hour,” Bill Lewis provided self-help tips and advice regarding credit repair, finances, and related topics. Throughout the years, Bill’s show strayed from the original concept of providing financial awareness to his listeners.
In an effort to strengthen his listener base and to broaden the topics hosted, Bill launched The Credit Report with Bill Lewis upon moving to AM 1470 WWNN and AM 740 WWNN in 2004 within the Beasley Broadcasting group. Listeners were searching for help regarding a myriad of topics from credit repair, extreme coupon shopping, and foreclosure matters, but welcomed the political format that Bill introduced locally to a south Florida audience.
Since the show’s inception, Bill Lewis has interviewed some of the country’s leading politicians, including Presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, Gary Johnson, Herman Cain, and Jon Huntsman. Numerous state and federal candidates or officials such as Rick Scott, Charlie Crist, Jeb Bush, George LeMieux, Bill Nelson, Bob Graham, Jeff Atwater, Adam Putnam, Pam Bondi, Marco Rubio, Allen West, Connie Mack, Dan Webster, Tom Rooney, Alcee Hastings, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Joe Kaufman, Mario Diaz-Balart, Janet Reno, Alex Sink, Adam Putnam, Bill McCollum, Jeff Kottkamp, Christine O’Donnell – among others – have also appeared on the radio with talk show host Bill Lewis.
