Our Duty To Defend Our Constitution and Nation

Hello fellow Americans, another day as we wake up to the same ole same ole in the White House.  The President of Blame didn’t exactly sneak behind closed doors; he just waited until the Senate was at home snuggled in their little beds trying to recover from the Healthcare Reform confusion!  His timing was perfect he just added another 15 recess appointees to his cabinet and don’t forget the 16,000 IRS watch dogs that will be hired shortly.

Don’t worry about your money; it’s needed for Obama’s runaway government!  But, one must remember the money being thrown out the back door isn’t improving our broken economy, nor is it cutting down on our National Deficit.  The keyword at the White House is “Spend” and unless Americans pull the plug on this obscene spending we will go into a “Depression.”

If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it – well it’s broke and we better start fixing it!  Until government is downsized, real transparency is implemented, jobs created, healthcare reform repealed, stimulus money returned nothing will improve.  We can’t spend our way out of this recession –according to CBO the President’s budget will actually tack another trillion plus on our National Deficit.

“The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.” By Samuel Adams

Americans realize that we have quite a few rats in the icebox (White House) and hiding our head in the sand isn’t an option!  Our Constitution says The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Look at the definition of bribery: The offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of something of value for the purpose of influencing the action of an official in the discharge of his or her public or legal duties. Not being a scholar of law, it appears that our Constitution gives us the power to impeach those starting with the President and working our way down, if we can prove bribery.  So, just how much bribery does it require to stand up in court?

There are sweetheart deals, stimulus money misused, Union deals, no transparency –  everything is done behind closed doors and now a healthcare reform has been passed and many, many votes were purchased by hook or by crook.  We have a government that can’t function without bribes, or money passed under the table; shouldn’t this be sufficient to start the necessary steps of impeachment.

I’m a grandmother of 7 wonderful grandchildren and I’m not a racists.  My brother in law is an African American, Condelezza Rice is one of my very favorite ladies and many of my friends are pretty much like myself (just a Heinz mixture.)  Color has nothing to do with anything, but character of a man is crucial and this man we call President leaves much to be desired.

I am terrified of the man and his team that are leading our country down a treacherous path of Socialism. My dream was to leave our children and grandchildren a country that was safe for them to hang their hat and raise their children, but that dream has been shattered by the President of Blame and I’d love to go to Washington, sit down with him (no teleprompter) and talk

None of us know who this man is at the helm of our Nation – but a man’s character is the man!  The people “have a right, an indisputable, unalienable, indefeasible, divine right to that most dreaded and envied kind of knowledge– I mean of the character and conduct of their rulers.”  John Adams
