WASHINGTON – President Obama announced today the recess appointment of three nominees to fill critical administration posts that have been left vacant.
“It’s unfortunate that at a time when our nation is facing enormous challenges, many in Congress have decided to delay critical nominations for political purposes,” President Obama said. “These recess appointments will allow three extremely qualified candidates to get to work on behalf of the American people right away. With more than 180 nominees still pending before the Senate, it’s my hope that my colleagues in Congress will agree to put politics aside and move forward on these vitally important positions.”
The President announced the recess appointment of the following nominees:
Dr. Donald Berwick, Nominee for Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Department of Health and Human Services.
Philip E. Coyle III, Nominee for Associate Director for National Security and International Affairs, Office of Science and Technology Policy, Executive Office of the President.
Joshua Gotbaum, Nominee for Director, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
Berwick — You know who he is.
Coyle and Gotbaum — Both started in Jimmy Carter’s administration.
It’s unfortunate at a time when our nation is facing enormous challenges in the middle of a Marxist Jihadi takeover, that these pieces of garbage are allowed to continue on and in truth, on a daily basis, exponentially increase their assault on our Constitution and YOUR freedom.
I’m not offering further comment, or I’ll become seriously dangerous.
