One of my favorite signs at the tax day tea party in Washington, D.C. held up by the the Christo-fascist, flag waving, gun toting, racist, white power fueled, anti-semetic, neo-nazi, homophobic teabaggers, or whatever the Democrats are calling tea partiers these days, was “My ‘n’ word is November.”The guy who held it up was there with his wife. Her sign said, “I only play a racist on MSNBC.”Watch this video put on by the Republican Governors Association. Come November, we will remember.http://remembernovember.com/Please click here for the rest of the post.
When the sycophantic fanboys of the Democratic Party start predicting electoral disaster, the Democrats really must be in trouble. On page A1 (that’s the front page for those of you in Rio Linda), Jeff Zeleny and Adam Nagourney spell DOOM for the Democrats in 1,317 words. Please click here for the rest of the post.
Barack Obama is headed to “Main Street” this week — that part of the country most particularly getting the shaft because of his policies.Meanwhile, MoveOn.org and the SEIU are marching on Wall Street. The SEIU’s former President, Patrick Gaspard, is the White House’s political director. We also know the White House is in regular touch with MoveOn.org to do its bidding. This is a good cop, bad cop scam designed to shut up both Main Street and Wall Street. The question is whether Republicans will fight. Please click here for the rest of the post.
Those vulnerable Democrats whose votes for health care reform were predicated on the conceit that it would not add to the nation’s bloated deficit have today found themselves in a precarious position, as a new report by federal regulators indicated the health care remake will add $311 billion to the national deficit over the next ten years. Please click here for the rest of the post.
Following Arizona’s passage of a tough new immigration law, Barack Obama described the law as “misguided” and implied that Arizona was being “irresponsible” by trying to protect its lawful citizens.Surprisingly (to me, at least), Senator John “the Maverick” McCain responded. Please click here for the rest of the post.
This week the House of Representatives will vote on H.R. 2499, the Puerto Rico Democracy Act, which gives the people of Puerto Rico the opportunity to vote on their political future including the possibility of becoming America’s 51st state. Officially, the bill would create a two-step voting process where the people of Puerto Rico would vote to either maintain the status quo or select a different political status. If a different political status is desired by the majority of the electorate, Puerto Ricans would have three options: independence, free association with the U.S., or full statehood. If that sounds unnecessarily confusing, it’s because it is. And there are numerous questions about the implications of this bill that no one is talking about. Please click here for the rest of the post.
Bob Bennett is out. He’s toast. Dead man walking. Pick your description.Bob Bennett will not be the next Senator for the State of Utah despite Mitt Romney himself going to the Utah State Convention and begging them to re-elect Bennett.Bob Bennett’s political career is finished. How do we know?On Friday in Utah, Bob Bennett went behind the podium at a press conference he called and assailed the Club For Growth and out of state interests coming into Utah to attack him, malign him, and beat him. Only one reporter showed up.And Bennett refused to mention that the bulk of his campaign cash has . . . wait for it . . . come from out of state.Pot, meet kettle. Please click here for the rest of the post.
Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES Tonight on “The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox News, Donald Trump was the first guest, and at the beginning of his segment, Bill lightheartedly and briefly touched on EffGate. During the bantering exchange, Trump repeatedly denied that he used the actual word. However, since it was on video, this claim is verifiable. As they say in the business, let’s go | Read More »
Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES New Orleans has a habit, it seems, of being ignored by the press. At least, ignored when it comes to mass shootings. Or this case, attempted mass shooting. You may remember that, back in November, there was a mass shooting in the city which received virtually no national press. Now we have a story where not only did someone | Read More »
Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES Hillary Clinton is the ultimate Washington DC insider. She has been there for over 20 years. She was a first lady. Then she was a Senator. Then she ran for President. Then she was a lousy secretary of state. Then she went and made tens of millions of dollars giving speeches thanks in large part to her status as | Read More »
Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES With Iowa in the rearview and New Hampshire just around the corner, more and more people are lining up to take official sides, and Rubio is starting to run away with the endorsement game, for whatever that is worth.
