In a report published exclusively by Drudge a Russian professor makes some claims, quoted below:
Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily IZVESTIA published on Monday: "The dollar is not secured by anything. The country's foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."
He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts - the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong.
It's worth noting that Professor Panarin is a leading Russian political analyst, not a financial analyst.
If you begin to look around the world, you'll see the old Russia re-emerging from it's ashes like a Phoenix.
These are but a few examples of old mother Russia beginning to return to the cold war days. Add Iran and that nut-ball Ahmadinejad to the soup and I think the US of A will be just fine.
Obama proposes massive spending by the Government to boost the economy, and he may be exactly right. We will need to spend huge amounts of cash to return our military to it's former self, and the threat of a new Cold War could be just the chum to stir up a feeding frenzy of military spending, which I fully support.
Give GM, Ford and Chrysler military funds to build new vehicles, we're going to need them!
