Retired Navy commander Peter Greenwald has decided enough is enough and vows to unseat incumbent Eric Cantor in the June 2014 primary in Virginia Congressional District 7. A patriot through and through he loves God and his country and is a strong constitutionalist.
In my last assignment in 2008 I reported to Fort Riley, Kansas to prepare for deployment to Afghanistan. On my first Sunday morning while walking to the chapel, I came upon a memorial to “The Big Red One”. I paused to read their motto, “No mission too difficult. No sacrifice too great. Duty first.” As I faced the rigors of pre-deployment training, I needed that reminder that raised my spirit and renewed my ideals.
Today, our nation faces a difficult mission to restore our Constitutional republic. That mission requires shared sacrifice and all of us as Americans to put duty first and strive for RESTORATION NOW. Like those who signed the Declaration of Independence, each of us, "with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, [must] pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor."
Currently Pete is going through the arduous task of collecting signatures to get him on the ballot. His platform is a simple one and one that resonates with many Americans. In fact the patriotic movement is growing rapidly and a big part of that movement is returning to the constitution.
