Coach K has a little advice for Obama

Barack Obama has demonstrated far more knowledge of NCAA basketball than any other issue he has been confronted with since assuming the role of President. He had exactly the same final four picks as I did, until I hastily re-did my brackets. He also made some late revisions to his own picks, putting the University of North Carolina as his champion. A certain coach down the road had something to say about it:

Of course, the president’s choice drew a reaction from the Tar Heels’ most intense rival.

“Somebody said that we’re not in President Obama’s Final Four, and as much as I respect what he’s doing, really, the economy is something that he should focus on, probably more than the brackets,” Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said from the Blue Devils’ first-round site in Greensboro, N.C.

As Barack Obama heads off to his – second (or is it third?) vacation since taking office, I think Coach K’s advice is wise indeed.

Don’t expect the Facilitator – In – Chief to take it, though. Go Blue Devils!
