United States Congress Localization Amendment

All actively serving Representatives of the United States Congress are hereby required to spend 80% of their working hours physically located in the district they represent making themselves reasonably available to their constituents.

 

All actively serving Senators of the United States Congress are hereby required to spend 50% of their working hours physically located in the state from which they were elected making themselves reasonably available to their constituents.

 

The United States Congress shall institute procedures and technologies which allow members of the United States Congress to securely deliberate and vote from their district offices.

 

All actively serving members of the United States Congress are prohibited from discussing in any way legislation related topics with any persons other than their own constituents, fellow members of the United States Congress, or members of the Executive branch.
