Will there be anything left for us?

Did Bush have ANY advisors?

We’ve been beating our heads against the wall lately wondering about the futureof the Republican Party, what we will become and where we will end up. We’vebeen hemming and hawing about Obama’s policies and the downward spiral of the economy. To many of us Obama’s Change will be literally that, change…pocket change to be exact because that’s all we’ll have left. But with all the potential damage we are laying at the feet of The One it may be our own guy who has hurt us the most. For years we have bitched and moaned about being screwed by organizations likeOPEC and being under the heal of the United Nations and we’ve had no successunburdening ourselves from those loads. As our country’s shoulders are quakingfrom the load and it’s legs are on the verge of buckling President Bush had decided that it will be his job to toss on that proverbial straw that may finally do us in. Ladies and gentlemen meet the newest member of that fine socialist organization, the European Union, The United States.

The results of the G-20 economic summit amount to nothing less than the seamless integration of the United States into the European economy. In one month of legislation and one diplomatic meeting, the United States has unilaterally abdicated all the gains for the concept of free markets won by the Reagan administration and surrendered, in toto, to the Western European model of socialism, stagnation and excessive government regulation. Sovereignty is out the window. Without a vote, we are suddenly members of the European Union. Given the dismal record of those nations at creating jobs and sustaining growth, merger with the Europeans is like a partnership with death.

Read the whole thing. I think my heart is broken….and it was Bush himself who twisted the knife.
