Wall St. Protests: 1960s All Over Again
For several years now we have been hearing that European violence is coming to America. Yes, the masses are going to rise up and take over and protest austerity and unemployment here just as they have in Greece and France.
But first it is interesting to note that those Euro protests are very small groups of people who get big coverage in the left-wing world media. Ditto now in America in the so-called Wall Street protests. Why is so-called ‘conservative’ Matt Drudge even giving them constant coverage?
Big protests have not really happened here in the US for one reason only, however: Because it would make Obama look bad. If it were a Republican president, there would be riots in the streets over the economy. All coordinated by the left, that is.
Now we have a small protest against “Wall Street” and “banks”. That is why the recent news story that Bank of America was going to charge $5 a month for debit card fees was blown up in the news. It was a coordinated assault on the private sector by the protesters’ media friends. Period.
So now the mini-mobs are not even out protesting Obama’s destruction of the American economy. They are protesting that wealthy people and corporations are not paying more to fix Obama’s mess. Yet the wealthy are in many cases Obama’s cronies. The non-tax-paying General Electric is Obama’s closest corporate ally.
And now labor unions are joining the Wall Street protests. So another group of people that has ruined America with decades of outrageous economic demands is protesting the further ruining of America by their friend and ally Obama.
These protests are nothing more than Soros-backed and communist-backed radicals, anarchists and anti-Semites who are seeking desperately to deflect attention from Obama’s failures and sinking popularity, particularly with the Solyndra scandal breaking and the Fast and Furious scandal involving attorney general Eric Holder.
And rest assured that these protesters will get violent and ultimately will discredit their own movement. Because they can’t help their own brutal natures. So just be calm. They will destroy themselves. This is the same crowd as the WTO protesters.
In fact it is we conservatives who really should be organizing millions of unemployed to rally against Obama. Except that we don’t have time for community organizing. We are too busy working. That is why even the Tea Party tax day protests are not even bigger than they are. Because most conservatives are working.
No, organizing is something that people on the left do using powerful interest groups and their money. You know, the professional organizers like Obama once was, using college kids and other left-wing rent-a-mobs for their campaigns. They are people on the fringes, not people who work hard every day. Meanwhile the Tea Parties are a genuine grass-roots movement.
And you can never expect the left to ever get out-organized. They now are leapfrogging on the April 15 tax day protests of the Tea Parties by using April 15 to protest big business and banks and wealthy people.
Because those on the left never, ever, ever stop manipulating every public opinion in every way possible. And now smaller Wall Street protests have spread to other cities. Los Angeles even had a bus parked nearby with a 1960s peace sign on it.
Thus we are seeing the 1960s all over again – lazy non-working radicals out protesting banks and Wall Street. Many can hardly put a sentence together and they reek of hatred and anger.
Just as the left in Europe, organized by communists and trade unions, is protesting austerity measures even though the citizens are completely tapped out under socialism already. Everything has been taxed over there. Nothing is left to tax.
But that is of no significance to the left. Because the left always needs something else to cause trouble over. In Wisconsin last Winter the unions and their backers practically rioted and certainly tore up the state capitol building to protest legal legislation to rein in union power.
In other words, the unions and the protesters indeed are the problem. The Wisconsin protests proved it. Yet there they were, tearing up the capitol.
So indeed, if there are more violent protests they will come from the left and will be magnified in the media. At the same time, the Tea Parties are quietly getting people elected. Which proves that the ballot is mightier than the bullhorn.
And who are the protesters? They are the usual suspects – labor unions, college kids, radicals, malcontents, full-time extremist bloggers and activists, some of them paid. Not people who are going to work every day to try and fix America by contributing like the Tea Parties. No, it is the same greedy extremists who have ruined our economy in the first place.
Here is a perfect example: Some of the rent-a-mobs are protesting home foreclosures. But what caused the real estate crisis in the first place?
Two things both coming from the political left:
*The preposterous lending of trillions of dollars to poor people to buy homes. Rational conservatives warned that those poor people were bad credit risks and have been proven right. The ‘subprime’ crisis is the main factor that caused the economic collapse.
*Loose standards in banking led to too much credit and a housing ‘bubble’. Yet these loose standards are a result of decades of demands in which the liberals and socialists said that the tight standards like 20% down for a home loan were too restrictive and discriminatory.
So they brought down the whole system instead.
Then Obama had the nerve to say that poor people might be “better off renting”. Just like we conservatives have said all along.
Of course the kooks in the streets are backed up by crazy people in Follywood. Here is what 1990s TV actress Roseanne Barr said recently with a perfectly straight face:
“Part of my platform is, of course, the guilty must be punished and that we no longer let our children see their guilty leaders getting away with murder. Because it teaches children, you know, that they don’t have to have any morals as long as they have guns and are bullies and I don’t think that’s a good message. I do say that I am in favor of the return of the guillotine and that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty. I first would allow the guilty bankers to pay, you know, the ability to pay back anything over $100 million [of] personal wealth because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million. And if they are unable to live on that amount of that amount then they should, you know, go to the reeducation camps and if that doesn’t help, then being beheaded.”
So do you wonder why the crazies and radical are out protesting in the streets and why Barr would say such a thing precisely at the same that they are protesting?
It is because these nuts feed on each other. Pure radicalism and insanity is the glue that binds them. And nothing productive comes out of them. Socialism always, always leads to economic destruction and violence. Obama’s economy proves it.
