I have just a quick question regarding our new Energy Secretary's idea to paint the roofs of our houses and the surfaces of our roads white. Beside the obvious problem that once the light energy has entered the atmosphere the heat is gonna stay here irrespective of where precisely in the atmosphere it is, there's a more important issue.
Does this guy, or any of the so-called "experts" have any idea how much glare there's gonna be on a white road? Seriously now, black roads practically turn into a blazing white beacon of light when driving west in the late afternoon. Does anyone want to try that with white roads? We'll all be wearing welding goggles to tool around town. I think the appropriate word is asinine.
