With President Obama’s recent endorsement of Representative Hank “Guam may tip over and capsize” Johnson, it is clear that the incumbent is increasingly out of step with the changes taking place in his District and State. For the first time in nearly two decades Georgia’s District 4, which was previously home to Rep. Cynthia McKinney, currently the home for the great sport of island tipping, finally has a viable, conservative contender: Liz Carter.
Liz is neither a politician nor an attorney. She’s a concerned citizen and small business owner with over 18 years of real executive experience. She’s managed multi-million dollar budgets and sat at board tables making tough decisions. I don’t know about you, but right now I think Washington could do with the business sense and sensibilities of more small-business owners and fewer Island Density Investigation & Optimal Tipping-point researchers.
Carter’s vision of fiscal sanity includes a balanced budget, smaller government and capsizing special interests. She knows we need free market solutions to the unemployment crisis. Carter believes it’s the role of government “to create an infrastructure promoting success and empowerment, not entitlement.” Her opponent believes the army might flip Guam upside down.
And here’s another thing. Carter was compelled to run for Congress after hearing Rep Johnson’s remarks on Joe Wilson’s “you lie!” Johnson said that if Wilson’s comments went uncensured that people would be putting on “white hoods and white uniforms, riding through the countryside …” Yes. Really. What do you think Georgia? Does that represent your opinion?
Liz Carter knows this is an uphill battle, but it’s one worth fighting, and it’s one I want to help her fight: “This election is not about party, it’s about the people. We will change the perception of District 4 across this nation and bring true representation to its constituents.” Amen to that.
Therefore, we, the undersigned Redstate contributors, endorse Liz Carter in her bid to capsize Hank Johnson. Help us do what Redstaters do best: change the game. We did it for Marco Rubio. Let’s do it for Liz Carter as well!
**Note: Liz has also been endorsed by ConservativeCongress.com, Gwinnett Sheriff Butch Conway, and Norcross Mayor Bucky Johnson (and the World’s Strongest Redneck)

Share on Facebook 1 1 SHARES In the Obama years of the Department of Homeland Security, a lot of questionable things have gone on. For example, as we’ve noted before, the DHS shut down an investigation into the terrorists who would eventually launch a deadly terror-related shooting in San Bernardino, California. We know this and more thanks to Philip Haney, a whistleblower that has made | Read More »
