The soccer game that maybe wasn’t
Where was the President from 9:20 to 10:17 am on Saturday, April 10?
It is a mystery with no obvious answer.
According to Politico, the President told reporters he had snuck out to see one of his daughters play in a soccer game.

President Obama Sunday seemed to shrug off the brouhaha after he broke with White House tradition and ditched his press pool earlier this weekend to watch one of his daughter’s soccer games.
Prior to Obama’s bilateral meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, Obama told his colleague, “Apparently I caused quite a problem,” adding something about his secretary not telling the Secret Service, according to, ironically enough, the pool report.

American Thinker today raises serious questions about the soccer story.
1. Sidley Friends School had no game scheduled that day.
2. The site where he was supposed to have been (shown in a Google picture) does not appear to be a soccer field.
3. American Thinker reports that no one can confirm the President was accompanied by Secret Service personnel.
4. Despite the President’s love of cameras, no pictures have emerged anywhere of him at any such event.

If he wasnt at a soccer game, wasn’t photographed by onlookers, and may not have been accompanied by Secret Service, it boggles the mind to think where he might have been.
The simplest explanation may be that he stepped out onto the White House grounds to grab a smoke.
