RIGHT-WING EXTREMISTS BEHEAD DEMOCRAT LAWMAKERS
Obama and the Liberal's Real War on Terror
Congressman Rep. Ron Barber (D-AZ)Heritage ActionScorecardRep. Ron BarberHouse Democrat Average13% was the last head to be severed off by right-wing terrorists in the in the aftermath of the violent uprising that started on November 4th of 2014. Most of us just called this Election Day.
Reasonable people will interpret the election results as the shellacking of a Democrat party that tried to replace the American dream with part-time jobs, food stamps, ObamaPhones, and a “speak softly but carry a selfie-stick” approach to foreign policy. Of course liberals are anything but reasonable people. So they, and the White House, looked at the results from November 4th as a terrorist act and responded accordingly. That may be why the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is now warning the nation to beware of “Right-wing Terror Threats”.
For those Democrats who are prepared to go on a hunger strike and boycott personal hygiene until Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL)Heritage ActionScorecardRep. Debbie Wasserman SchultzHouse Democrat Average9% is featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, this idea will be met with open derision. The truth is this is exactly how they see anyone within the country who doesn’t agree with them and is uppity enough to express their feelings with political aspirations, donations, or even votes. They have left an evidence trail a mile wide to support the notion as well.
During the brief government shutdown of 2013, the Republicans were in the minority and used the filibuster to hold up Obamacare funding legislation. Former Democrat Rep. George Miller (D-CA)Heritage ActionScorecardRep. George MillerHouse Democrat Average15% painted their their legal actions with the brush of terrorism when he stated that the Republicans were on a “jihad against American citizens getting access to health care”. During this time Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV)Heritage ActionScorecardSen. Harry ReidSenate Democrat Average10% also referred to conservatives as “anarchists” and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)Heritage ActionScorecardRep. Nancy PelosiHouse Democrat Average11% threw in the word “arsonists” for good measure (a term usually reserved for the guy who does her chemical peels). The President’s Senior White House Adviser Dan Pfeifer chimed in as well. He stated that “What we’re not for [is] negotiating with people with a bomb strapped to their chest.” The White House followed this up later by negotiating with a bunch of guys with bombs strapped to their chests for the release of five Taliban commanders from Guantanamo Bay. Of course they have stated that the Taliban are not terrorists. Apparently they think Republicans are.
The list could go on. It’s fair to say that the term “hostage takers” was bandied around quite a bit to describe a minority party who was using the procedural tools available to block legislation. Obviously the media and the liberals blamed the Republicans for the 2013 shutdown.
As the possibility of new partial shutdown loomed, this one with the Republicans in the majority and the Democrats using the filibuster to hold up financing for the DHS, much of the same rhetoric is being tossed around (at least it was before Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY)Heritage ActionScorecardSen. Mitch McConnellSenate Republican Average67% submissively urinated in Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV)Heritage ActionScorecardSen. Harry ReidSenate Democrat Average10%’s general direction.) Republicans, according to Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)Heritage ActionScorecardRep. Nancy PelosiHouse Democrat Average11% and her media stenographers, were back to acting like irrational criminals. During a public address she stated “Forcing the Department of Homeland Security to shut down endangers the American people. Republicans must stop holding our homeland security hostage to their anti-immigrant grandstanding.” The Washington Post and other media outlets picked up on this theme and Republicans were being portrayed as hostage taking Visigoths who seek to overthrow the government and make Slurpees from blood of small children.
When the Republicans/Conservatives are in the minority, using the filibuster makes them terrorists and criminals. When they are in the majority, not capitulating to the Democrat filibuster makes them terrorists and criminals. So obviously criminal activity has nothing to do with majority or minority standing but rather with WHO has the standing. If liberals own words can be believed, Republican politicians and their supporters are the “Right-wing Terror Threats” the DHS just warned us about.
For liberals the “war on terror” is the one at the ballot box, and the seventy-five Democrats in the House and Senate who have been voted out or office are the moral equivalent of James Foley. Obama has reacted to this “Right-wing Terror Threat” the exact same way that more mature and intelligent Presidents have reacted to real terrorists. He used the IRS to cut off their finances (what did anyone think the IRS Targeting scandal was about anyway?) and then took a “We do not negotiate with terrorists” approach to Republican majorities. The actions of this President and his party are more telling than any words they speak. Obama will negotiate with the Taliban for the release of their commanders, was caught on camera with the President of Russia offering to negotiate away our nuclear deterrent, and will do his best to negotiate Israel out of existence by handing nukes to the Iranians. But negotiating with his own nation’s rightfully elected lawmakers, simply because they are Republicans, is one step over the red line.
Through the magic beans of Obama’s own ideology somehow the Iranians are reasonable negotiating partners and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)Heritage ActionScorecardSen. Ted CruzSenate Republican Average95% is a whacko who may or may not have dozens of Kiwanis Club members held prisoner in his basement. Perhaps if Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)Heritage ActionScorecardRep.
