In politics as in life in general, there is never an action without a reaction. As the media has become more and more an arm of the Democratic Party, their countrymen have not failed to notice. According to Gallup's latest poll on how much we trust the media, the numbers are not good for Brian Williams and his fellow propagandists.
Sixty percent of Americans either trust the media "not very much" or "none at all".
Among Republicans only 26% have a "great deal" or a "fair amount" of trust.
Independents are almost as intelligent with only 31% having a "great deal" or a "fair amount" of trust.
As might be expected the least intelligent of Americans, those commonly known as "Democrats", have the highest level of love for the media with 58% having a "great deal" or a "fair amount" of trust.
Gallup drilled down farther to find out which group pays the most attention to news about national politics. The numbers of those who say they are following the news "very closely" should surprise no one.
