A joke every minute
We are being ruled by a regime that is purposely marginalizing and weakening the country it governs. The past six years have provided enough evidence of this to anyone who has been even partially conscious, but it seems clear that the pace of executing measures to reach those ends is accelerating, and we can probably expect this to continue for the remainder of BHO’s term.
One current and glaring example is the climate “deal” that the community-agitator-in-chief “negotiated” with China. Mr. Obama committed the U.S. to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 26-28% within the next 11 years. Reaching this level of emission reduction will cost us untold billions, and will intensify the choke-hold the regime’s policies are having on our economy. Electricity, heating fuel, gasoline, all will cost much, much more, diminishing expendable income even for those still fortunate enough to be working, and will contract the job market and shrink the number of opportunities available to those who have already been victimized by the Obama economy.
So, we’re going to be seriously hurt by this agreement, and all we can do is hope that we got some serious concessions from the Chinese – who, by the way, are a much greater source of air pollution than the U.S. (remember the Olympic games?) – but, alas, such is not the case. In return for Obama committing the U.S. to economic self-mutilation, China has agreed to reach peak greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. No reductions, nor even a limit on what their peak levels will be.
This is absolutely outrageous.
But it’s only the latest of a series of outrages. From this Gruber-guy’s videos proving that the regime lied to stupid American voters get Obamacare passed, and lied about the intent of the language that prescribes that subsidies are available to only those who purchase health care on state-run exchanges, to Obama himself saying that his policies were on the ballot in the lead-up to this month’s elections, to his assertion that the reason his party got smoked was mostly salesmanship of those policies, to the post-election commitment to double down on executive amnesty…
As more of his policy platform continues to be exposed for the damage and harm it has caused to the country’s economy and international standing, it becomes more clear that Obama himself is a sorry joke – but a joke that is not the least bit funny and will continue to cost us, our kids, and our grandkids, dearly.
