Why #Amoral #Libertaranism Should Be Rejected

And, I Might Add, Is Rejected

Dan McLaughlin thinks Republicans should become Democrat Lite by, you guess it, be ok with legalizing pot:

To go to Hillary’s left, mind you. It’s not about making a clear-cut difference between the two candidates. He wants to muck up the issue.

I, of course, called him out on it and then he does “I don’t favor legalizing it myself, but I favor other people legalizing drugs” bull crap:

Then I ask him if Democrats took that postion, would he, Dan McLaughlin, vote for them. He said no:

Which pretty much tells me, he’s an amoral hypocrite.

Although he pushes libertarian talking points, he says he is a federalist. Ok, so it was the first federalist president John Adams who said:

“I agree with you that in politics the middle way is none at all.”

Dan McLaughlin wants to have his cake and eat it too. However he can’t. He doesn’t mind allowing parts of the United States to desend into an amoral cess pool, just as long as it is not his own back yard. I call that hypocrisy.

Romans 1:18-32 teaches the sinfulness of man in rejecting the truth of God and replacing it with false gods and false concepts of God. And Proverbs 14:34 says “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” The Love Of Drugs (much like the Love Of Money) always, ALWAYS, lead to a rejection of God and is a sin. I have seen this first hand. Our laws should reflect the rejection of immorality and sin.

Libertarans also profess a love of the Founding Fathers, yet ignore that the Founders wanted a religiously moral and virtuous nation:

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” -John Adams

“[O]nly a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.” -Benjamin Franklin

“Religion and morality are the essential pillars of civil society.” -George Washington

“Whereas true religion and good morals are the only solid foundations of public liberty and happiness… it is hereby earnestly recommended to the several States to take the most effectual measures for the encouragement thereof.” Continental Congress, 1778

A Republic is supposed to be a Nation Of Laws, not a Nation Of Anarchy. If you believe in a Constitutional Republic and everything our Founding Fathers stood for, then you should REJECT Libertaranism altogether. I did shortly after President Lightbringer was elected and that is why I am now a Conservative.

If you guys really believe in this amoral anarchy, then why don’t you start your own party? Oh that’s right, you do have your own party. The nation has largely rejected the Libertaran Party and Libertaranism, because with Democrats and Progressivism, they can have their immorality and sin with a big government crutch. Benjamin Franklin noted that corruption and vice needs a bigger government (“more masters”) and John Adams (again, a federalist) noted our “constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.”

I think it’s cool that you guys reject big government. I even used to be one of you guys (called myself a Moderate Republican). I think conservatives and libertarans make natural allies. In the end however, libertaranism will be rejected completely when people start realizing that immorality and sin go hand-in-hand with a big government. If you don’t believe me, just turn your eyes to Europe to see what I am talking about. Their amoral governments are getting bigger and bigger every year (“more masters”), not smaller.
