The French are Unhappy…Big Surprise

I remember when Hollande was elected as President of France. It was a big deal because the guy’s main bag was raising taxes for the rich and giving free stuff away. I’m sure he said some other very pleasant and humanly compassionate things to make the people feel warm and fuzzy, to hope for change.

Now the French are “unhappy.” So are Britons. In fact, it turns out Europeans in general are skeptical. http://news.yahoo.com/most-europeans-especially-french-unhappy-eu-survey-100641725.html But why? I thought all the free stuff and the riches being taken from the affluent was going to fix everything. Apparently, the opposite is happening.

Who would’ve thunk it…?

I worked with a Greek lady who came here because her young son was very sick and needed the best medical care in the world. It’s been almost two decades. Emory has done what no hospitals in Greece could. Her son is very much alive and well. He’ s a friend of mine.

When Obamacare was introduced, she was all for it. It amazes me how someone who came here for a specific reason ends up advocating the exact measures that were related to the reason for leaving Greece in the first place. It’s the same with people who are moving to the South for lower taxes and cost of living. Many of them end up advocating the policies that caused them to leave states like New York in the first place.

The noise all the media makes clouds people’s judgement until all rational thought ceases. Common sense would tell you that if you have a household where only half the people work, yet they demand the money from the working half (and possibly more), at some point that system is going to crumble. The working half are going to find another place to live and you’ll be stuck with a non-working, non-productive, and ticked-off  half as your tenants.

Let this be another lesson to Americans (as if we needed more). Put aside partisan feelings and pay attention to what is happening in real life.

I leave you with this:

The folks who are getting the free stuff, don’t like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff, can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.  The folks who are paying for the free stuff, want the free stuff to stop and the folks who are getting the free stuff, want even more free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!

Now… The people who are forcing the people who Pay for the free stuff, have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff, that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff, are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.  So… the people who are GETTING the free stuff, have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff, by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff, and giving them the free stuff in the first place.  We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff.  Now understand this.  All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason? The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.  The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, 231 years ago. The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff. Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.  A Nation of Sheeple Breeds a Government of Wolves!
