I’ve been blocked a few times. This time’s easily the most bizarre.
I guess it began when I tweeted a thought based on the seemingly universal need for closure as a multiplier in the reaction to Zimmerman’s acquittal.
Somebody I don’t know and have never followed took exception to it.
I thought she misunderstood what I meant, so I offered a clarification…
…which, I guess, was a mistake.
Wow. What was that about?
After she blocked me, she evidently wasn’t finished.
She was reacting to another of my tweets linking to a hugely thoughtful post by Ta-Nehisi Coates—a widely-admired African-American editor and writer.
Just in case she hung around to see how I reacted, I thought I’d clarify things a bit.
By this time I’m really wondering what you have to do not to be labeled a racist by this nice lady.
I guess not be anybody but her.
