Hoffa and Obama – Birds of a Feather
Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa showed his thuggish lineage when he cued up President Obama’s speech in Detroit on Monday:
“We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They’ve got a war, they got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We’re going to win that war,” Jimmy Hoffa Jr. said to a heavily union crowd.
“President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let’s take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong.”

Now, after listening to Barak Obama’s numerous wink-and-a-nod calls for “civility” in political debate, one might expect him to attempt to distance himself somewhat from Mr. Hoffa’s unmistakable call for violence against their political opponents. But instead, the President practically endorsed Hoffa’s inflammatory rhetoric:
Those of us who are familiar with Chicago politics have long known that beneath his carefully crafted mask of gentility, Barak Obama is little more than a Chicago thug. Obama’s associations throughout his life have bolstered that image – his embracing of the likes of Mr. Hoffa does little to change that it.
Naturally, Obama’s sycophants in the media were no better. Watch CNN’s John King interview Hoffa for a full SIX MINUTES, without ONCE challenging the union boss on his comments:
The double standard that exists in the media’s coverage of political discourse has become as obvious as it is outrageous. Democrats and their proxy “brown shirts” are allowed to say the most vile, unprofessional, and even downright vicious things, without any fear that it will be given more than a passing mention in the press.
But I would warn Mr. Hoffa that advocating violence is a sword that cuts both ways. For should some overly eager union goons or their supporters actually decide to act on the nasty exhortations of the union boss, the backlash will not likely benefit either him or President Obama.
