It has been many months since my last entry. I have been busy trying to provide for my family. My youngest son was diagnosed with autism this year, so it has been a trying time for our family, not much different than so many other families in this great country of ours.
I have been overwhelmed, to say the least, at the way the Republican Presidential race has been going. We now have the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries out of the way. South Carolina is rapidly approaching and I am at a loss at what has been going on. The liberal media has caused such a schism in the Conservative movement that we do not even know what we are doing anymore.. I will go ahead an predicate this entire diary by saying that I am the number one supporter of Newt Gingrich.
The Republican party made a huge mistake in 2008 by nominating John McCain as the Republican candidate to run against President Obama. We are on the verge of doing the same thing...what are we trying to do? Are we intentionally trying to ruin the country? Does anyone really think that we can afford another four years of Barrack Obama? Oh, but if Romney gets elected, we will be okay. Let me tell you; if Romney becomes the Republican nominee and by some miracle gets elected, are we really going to be any better off?
Newt Gingrich is by far the best candidate for the Republican party since Ronald Reagan. Can anyone deny that Ronald Reagan is recognized as one of the most successful and influential presidents in the history of our great Republic? Many are so concerned about Newt not being able to beat Obama because of Newt's "baggage," but the reality is that Newt Gingrich has a record that has been proven. Yes, he did not do it alone, but he has the capability to actually right the ship that Obama has taken off course. We do not need someone that can "tweak" what Obama has done to right the ship. We need someone that will move us in the opposite direction. I am not saying this just because I would like to see Gingrich as our President, I am saying this because I literally am afraid that if we do not nominate Newt Gingrich, we may all need to start looking for a new country to live in. We do not have many choices considering the world economy revolves around the U.S.
The polls show that while many people would rather vote for other Republican candidates, Newt Gingrich is still the most popular presidential hopeful when it comes to policies and solutions. So my question to all of you, have we lost are minds? Does it not make sense to nominate the person best suited for the job. We have seen clearly what happens when we vote for the most popular guy. Barrack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi have put us back into a Cold War, crippled our economy, created a class warfare state, and has single handedly made it nearly impossible for any country in the world to fear or respect us. So many men and women have sacrificed their lives that we could be the most powerful and greatest country in the world. Our current administration wants us to be another seat at the UN. The United States being great does not mean that we are better than everyone else. Everyone has the opportunity to be great. We just allowed the citizens of this country to use their innovation to make this country great.
I am writing this to Republicans, Independents, and even Democrats, don't vote for who is popular, vote for who is most qualified. The answer is simple, Newt Gingrich is a patriot. He has a record that is verifiable, and he can bring this country out of the abyss and back to greatness. He understands foreign policy, domestic policy, and he will make this country the best country in the world once again. Please take this into consideration as you get ready to vote in the primary. These are the facts. I am a middle class worker that lives paycheck to paycheck. I just want us to have our country back. Don't listen to the polls, listen to the facts. Let's restore the country by putting someone in office that will affect change that will HELP this country and that person is Newt Gingrich
