While the world waits for the next development in the Syria debacle, Secretary of State John Kerry and President Obama passive-aggressively battle over credit for the idea to allow Russia as mediator.
The US state department stressed that Kerry was making a rhetorical argument about the one-week deadline and unlikelihood of Assad turning over Syria's chemical weapons stockpile.
But because Democrats think that giving Russia, Syria's benefactor, control over any weapons is a great idea, suddenly, he wants credit.
