It's time for GA to take a close look at protecting the rights of its citizens that the US Government will not defend as constitutionally mandated. (H/T Hotair.com)
For those of you who have read more Jefferson than you have the US Constitution, the first clause of the first amendment actually says: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;" (emphasis mine)
This is the perfect time and the perfect issue for another state to call attention to constitutional mandates that the US has been ignoring and protect its citizens from a predatory federal government.
Jefferson also concluded the letter to the Danbury Baptists (from which liberals pluck the 'wall of separation' phrase) with "...I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties...." Folks have a natural right to their prayer, even in a social setting, and Jefferson appears to defend that idea.
