This is going to be brief . Yesterday I was so struck with the fact that establishment Republicans have not been able to change the Democrat narrative during this presidency. If they ever have, it was only for a short period of time. Even with Biden's big mouth screwups, IRS scandals, Benghazi, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Israel, obama off the cuff remarks, Holder's bias toward letting black cases go (nothing to see here folks) attitude, Clinton's globe trotting to achieve nothingness, big sis foul ups, on and on. I know I've left out tons. It really is true that the media cannot, will not under any circumstance, diss their boy. Obama came on the scene and became their messiah and has maintained himself only because, as Bernie G says, " their slobbering love affair" relationship with obama.
Unless the Republican party gets the narrative changed to reflect an honest apprasal of what goes on with Democrats in Washington D.C. there is no hope.
If an honest man like [mc_name name='Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)' chamber='senate' mcid='C001098' ] was unable to get through to the establishment side of our party just how in the heck will Republicans ever get a narrative going out to the American public expressing just exactly who is to blame for the multitude of messes we now face (and it ain't GW, the president has been in office long enough to have changed all of GW's policies. Must be some of them he secretly agreed with. Like the surge in Iraq, and ah, Gitmo!)
The hypelink is an article about Seymore Hersh. He's promoting a book of course but some of the comments he made are pretty good.
I've got to get my head out of politics today, am so angry that I understand what "I could spit nails" means. Hey better to say that then "he makes me puke". Had that gem repeated back to me by little grandson.
In the event that not one single person reads this diary, that's perfectly okay. Redstate provides that outlet many of us need via writing diaries. yes?
