Buying Out Citizen’s Freedom Of Speech And Other Rights – Wind Power – Initial Edition.

Article by Mr. William Yardley of The NY Times – 31 July 2010.

Turbines Too Loud ?……. Here, Take $5,000.

Ione, Oregon — Residents of the remote high-desert hills near here have had an unusual visitor recently, a fixer working out the kinks in clean energy.

Patricia Pilz of Caithness Energy, a big company from New York that is helping make this part of Eastern Oregon one of the fastest-growing wind power regions in the country, is making a tempting offer: sign a waiver saying you will not complain about excessive noise from the turning turbines — the whoosh, whoosh, whoosh of the future, advocates say — and she will cut you a check for $5,000.

Smell Test: Exponential Fail – But people are falling for it sink, line and hooker.

These “green” companies are given YOUR MONEY in the form of government grants, ‘loans’, tax breaks and other ‘incentives’ to do whatever they have to do in order to further the administration’s agenda, part of which is fully within ICLEI (www.iclei.org).

The next step will be for either the local, state or Federal government (read all of that as the administration anyway) to simply declare eminent domain and seize the land wanted for whatever they want to do…… Wind farm, solar site, FEMA Camp…… doesn’t matter the use.

This is all stemming from “The Nudge”.  Yeah, him again.  Sunstein.  It’s his job.  He lives for it.

If you don’t want to look, that’s ok.  I can make it easier for you.  The company really isn’t all that fond of Conservatives and/or Republicans, individual rights, or anything else for that matter other than the agenda – and the agenda is only partly to turn a profit.

“The framers of our Constitution knew that the government should never have a monopoly on force, that’s why they articulated our God given right to self defense and ensured the right to keep and bear arms was written in our Bill of Rights.  Let’s not forget, George Washington didn’t use his right to free speech to defeat the British.  He shot them.”
