Opperation Take Back Illinois

Many people in Illinois and elsewhere are not aware that the Illinois State Constitution allows citizens to initiate changes to the Constitution without lawmakers approval. The people of Illinois can only make amendments by initiative to Article IV of the State Constitution, Article IV is the article pertaining to the state legislature. The Illinois Constitution only allows amendment to make “Procedural and Structural changes,” to | Read More »

    Ohio Redistricting

Right off the bat sorry, but I don’t know how to attach my map. I played around with Ohio I found the best way to shed 2 seats. We need to combine OH-16, OH-10, and OH-13 (Renacci, Kucinich, Sutton). This District that I propose went for Obama by just under 2% so we can hold it but it will be expensive.  The way I did | Read More »

    Charles Djou’s Campaign Strategy.

“I will bring an independent approach to a Washington polarized between political extremes. Hawai‘i needs a bi-partisan congressional delegation that can talk with both sides of the aisle. Hawai‘i needs active representation. I look forward to earning your trust.” From Charles Djou’s announcement for his 2012 Congressional bid. This is wrong, its conviction less, passionless, and devoid of emotion (Frankly we are tired of hearing | Read More »

Hawaii, The Voting Rights Act, and some food for thought.

Why doesn’t Hawaii have to submit its State Legislative districts to the Obama Justice Department, like other states do? By all means when you look at the break down of it’s population by race it should have to, 24% White, 2% Black, 38% Asian, 10% Pacific Islander, and 24% Mixed. The Voting Rights Act was put in place to “protect” minorities and let them chose | Read More »

    Rhode Island Redistricting

I wonder if Rhode Island have two at large districts (statewide districts) instead of two similar to what they have now, would benefit of hurt republicans? Personally I think it would be easier to recruit candidates. Plus it would be eaiser to gain senate seats if a house memeber is already elected statewide. Rhode Island is also so small, land wise (1,545 sq miles) and the smallest state | Read More »

    Texas Redistricting Ideas

Congressman Canseco (R) and Congressman Cuellar (D) could be thrown together in a district that goes from Laredo up to Bexar County (San Antone) and parts in between. This would make a fairly even swing district would be around 60-75% Hispanic, but about 50-50 McCain/Obama. But I think it would be a good chance for Canseco to knock out Cuellar, Canseco he grew up in | Read More »

Scott Walker it’s time for a Reagan Moment

Scott Walker needs to make it know that all illegal public employee strikes will result in immediate termination of employment. He should say all people who call in sick must come to work and prove they are sick or subject to the lose of their job. This must be done because I’m sure one sympathetic liberal doctor can be found to give out notes to | Read More »

    Florida Senate

Allen West should run against Nelson, and since I doubt Jeb will run, and i don’t think Bill McCollum will either. Plus if his seat was open it may allow for easier redistricting , we would not have to worry about one more incumbent to protect. And hopefully we could get rid of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz if we can alter districts enough. I think LTC West | Read More »
