If George Will is right, Hillary Clinton has zero chance of being elected president.
George Will was on FOX News Sunday’s panel, discussing the impact of Bill de Blasio’s election as mayor of New York City.
And here’s the money quote:
“There is nothing better for American conservatism than periodic examples of untrammeled liberalism….I give him ( de Blasio) three years, and people will be begging to return to something else..”
Both Clintons were front and center at de Blasio’s inauguration, smiling bravely through the near lunatic ranting an raving by Harry Belafonte and other speakers. They’ve embraced de Blasio, and his future governance.
So if Will is correct in his assessment about the three year window needed to ruin NYC, that coincidentally is the same amount of time before Hillary would again face the voters.
I personally think that Will is too optimistic in his assessment: I believe we’ll see a downturn in NYC within TWO years.
