The Cap, Cut and Balance bill that passed the House had bipartisan support. It had compromise. Patriotic House members yielded to their apparently Marxist-leaning fellows and agreed to more debt. With a condition. Of course, that ilk doesn’t like conditions or compromise. It’s hell bent on doing as it pleases.
When they began to squirm, here comes McConnell, ready to divide his party. At the peril of his own country he was quick to row out a rescue boat for Obama, who has said he would sign the McConnell plan. That tells me all I need to know about Mitch McConnell.
He has shown his disdain not only for patriotic members of the House and the majority of his constituents, but for all patriotic USA citizens. Unless he is senile, he knows Obama and his minions have pushed our country to the cliff.
We don’t have time for weak-kneed, greedy, cowardly or whatever adjective best applies to “moderate” Beltway politicians. Either they are too stupid to know we have an enemy within, or they are with them. Either way, indeed, we need new generals.
Perhaps they are with Bill Gates, who said in June, 2008: “We’ve really achieved the ideal of what I wanted Microsoft to become.” (Taken from http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/exec/billg/ today.) The word “patriotic” in the Microsoft Word, 2007, thesaurus leads to the following adjectives: xenophobic, jingoistic, chauvinistic, racist. Which tells me all I need to know about Bill Gates.
