We can take the U.S. Senate– are you in?
When the liberal media starts saying the Dems may lose, we should listen!
If the media believes Republicans can take the Senate, shouldn’t we listen?!
In an article Sunday, Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post wrote:
The decision by Sen. John Walsh (D-Mont.) not to seek election in November in the wake of a plagiarism scandal is the latest piece of good news for Republicans as they strive to take control of the Senate in less than three months.
Walsh’s departure from the race came in the same week that two Republican senators — Pat Roberts in Kansas and Lamar Alexander in Tennessee — defeated tea party challengers in primary fights, ensuring that every GOP senator seeking reelection would be the party’s nominee.
These past seven days typified the fates of the two parties this election cycle. Democrats have been hit by retirements in tough states — Montana, West Virginia, South Dakota and, to a lesser extent, Iowa — and Republicans haven’t nominated the sort of extreme candidates who lack broader appeal in a general election.
Those realities — along with a national playing field in which a handful of incumbent Democrats are defending Republican-leaning seats in places where President Obama is deeply unpopular — have made a GOP takeover a better-than-50/50 proposition.
When the Washington Post wakes up and notices the likely end of Harry Reid’s Democrat Senate, it is time to consider the consequences for New Mexico. Given imminent Republican takeover of the US Senate, New Mexicans should be engaged and fighting Tom Udall. New Mexicans cannot afford two liberal Senators in Washington.
New Mexicans don’t need Udall!
Tom Udall has been ranked as the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate— is that the kind of person we need representing New Mexico, a relatively conservative state?
Secondly, Senator Udall was the same Senator that urged the IRS to target conservative organizations:
Seven Democratic senators on Monday urged the IRS to crack down on groups that organize as nonprofits only to engage in politics — an effort targeted at conservative groups they believe are abusing the law.
Signing the letter were Sens. Chuck Schumer of New York, Michael Bennet of Colorado, Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, Jeff Merkley of Oregon, Tom Udall of New Mexico, Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire and Al Franken of Minnesota.
Finally, Senator Udall has supported legislation to restrict the 1st Amendment and “reform” campaign finance, while hypocritically raising hundreds of thousands of dollars and remaining silent when members of his own party in New Mexico are violating New Mexico campaign finance laws!
Send Tom Udall home!
Sen. Udall was completely ineffective when his party was in the majority. His outdated brand of anti-jobs and extreme liberal views would make him a serious liability in the post 2014 Senate no longer in the clutches of Harry Reid and his brand of Democrats.
YOU can help stop Senator Tom Udall. If you want to make a difference, you can! Col. Allen Weh is ready lead with some invaluable experience to capably lead in the Senate:
Allen E. Weh is the Chief Executive Officer of CSI Aviation Inc., an international air support and aviation logistics company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico which he founded in 1979.
Weh is a Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve (Ret), who began his service as an enlisted Marine before being selected for OCS. He served two tours in Vietnam and with the British Royal Marines in Malaysia. Colonel Weh was recalled to active duty during the Persian Gulf War, for the U.S. expedition into Somalia, and to serve as Chief of Staff of Marine Forces Pacific prior to retiring in 1997.
