CNN to Gov Perry: Have you stopped beating your wife yet?
Crossfire tries to bait Perry in a sad attempt at liberal outrage
CNN’s Stephanie Cutter unabashedly baited Texas Governor Rick Perry today in an interview on “Crossfire”, asking if he believes homosexuality is a disease. She might as well asked him if he’s stopped beating his wife yet. To his credit, Perry didn’t take the bait.
“I think my position has been fairly clear on that for a substantial period of time,” Perry said, pivoting quickly to the economy as a more pressing issue facing the United States.
CNN’s article then links a slug pointing out that RINO NJ Governor Christie disagrees with Perry.
May I ask a relevant question: who the hell cares what Christie thinks of Perry?
Democrats and their media lapdogs just continue to try to turn conversations into “controversy” without making any real points. Governor Perry said last week in San Francisco:
I may have the genetic coding that I’m inclined to be an alcoholic, but I have the desire not to do that – and I look at the homosexual issue the same way.
Perry is not the only one who looks at it that way. Most Bible-believing Christians look at it the same way. I’ve always told those who insist that sexual preference is genetic, set at birth, and immutable to show me the scientific evidence of that. I always hear crickets and then accusations of bigotry as a response.
Like anything the Left and the MSM blindly believe, no other opinion shall be tolerated, and if you happen to be an elected official (unlike a CEO whose company can be bulled into firing you), all they can do is keep up the breathless gasping and outrage with loaded questions.
