UPDATE: Now on the radio we hear that Fairfax County ( or should I say Cook County) has magically discovered 3200 absentee ballots they somehow forgot to count.
Also, we learn more about sell-out Bob McDonnell teaming with Soros to betray Republicans :
For all you folks in Virginia, as of last night Mark Obenshain’s lead for Attorney General is down to just 55 votes. Friday was the deadline to validate your provisional ballot, if you cast one.
Now, Fairfax County has extended the deadline for provisional ballots to be counted to at least Monday, in an obvious attempt to drum up the needed votes for Democrat Mark Herring. Conservatives tend to make sure they have registered properly and have the required ID; Democrats are much more likely to have cast a provisional ballot. Will Fairfax just keep going until they find the necessary votes for Herring? Undoubtedly the word has gone out to the Democrats.
If you did cast a provisional ballot, make sure you get down to the Government Center today and get your vote validated. Address: 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax.
Sunday, Nov. 10, 1 to 5 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 11, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Tuesday, 1 p.m. or an hour after the Electoral Board returns from a meeting at the Courthouse – whichever is later.
Here is the law on provisional ballots from the State Board of Elections Website:
“A voter will have until noon on the Friday following the election to deliver a copy of the identification to the local electoral board. Voters may submit a copy of their ID via fax, email, in-person submission, or through USPS or commercial delivery service. Please note that the copy of the ID must be delivered to the electoral board by noon on Friday, or the provisional ballot cannot be counted. A Friday postmark will not be sufficient if the copy of the ID is not delivered to the electoral board by noon on Friday.”
Rules just don’t apply to Democrats.
