Over 100 Grassroots Prayer Vigils for American Pastor Saeed Worldwide Thursday
Thursday, thousands of Americans, literally from coast to coast will gather at state capitals, city halls, parks, and churches to pray for Pastor Saeed. Thousands more will gather in nations around the world.
Thursday, September 26, 2013, Pastor Saeed will have spent 365 days of torment in an Iranian prison because of his Christian faith. It is just the first year of an eight-year prison sentence – a sentence he should never have to serve. It is an ongoing human rights violation compounded day after day.
The new president of Iran wants the world to believe Iran is changing. He is talking about improved diplomatic relations and has even released a few political prisoners. Now, its time for him to prove it – to initiated a new era of human rights and dignity in Iran – to release Pastor Saeed.
At Thursday’s prayer vigils that call, that prayer, will ring out at grassroots events in over 40 states in America and more than 15 other nations world wide.
Will you join us to pray for Pastor Saeed on Thursday?
