Obama Administration Grubered Americans on ObamaCare Enrollment

The lesson we learn from Jonathan Gruber (the MIT professor turned high-paid ObamaCare architect who admitted the Administration deceived the public to pass ObamaCare) is that the Obama Administration will do or say anything to prop up ObamaCare.

You know the litany of lies (you can keep you plan, no abortion funding, not a tax, etc.), but now we have a brand new deception: ObamaCare’s enrollment numbers.

The American Voter isn’t “Stupid” – The American Voter was Lied to

The architect of ObamaCare was just caught on camera calling the American people “stupid.”

Jonathan Gruber, the principle designer of the President’s prized health care law and former paid consultant for the Obama Administration, admitted what the Left thinks about the American people, saying that the only reason that they were able to pass ObamaCare was “the stupidity of the American voter.”

But it’s not that he’s calling us “stupid” that is so outrageous; it’s that we were lied to.

Lawn Care, Dry Cleaning and 7 Other Things More Money is Spent on Than Politics

The Left, licking its wounds from its stunning defeat this week at the polls, has gone back to incessantly complaining about the amount of money in politics.

It is estimated that $3.7 billion dollars was spent this election cycle. To the Left, this is a horrible, terrible, no good, dirty, astroturfing.

But the irony of all the decrying from the Left is just how little, comparatively, we spend on politics.

How the Supreme Court’s Latest Grant Could Cripple ObamaCare

The Supreme Court announced today that it would hear a major ObamaCare case that could deal a crippling blow to President Obama’s prized pro-abortion health care law.

With a newly elected pro-life Senate, a major challenge to ObamaCare subsidies at the Supreme Court, and the news that these subsidies are directly paying for abortion, the President’s prized pro-abortion reconfiguration of America’s health care landscape may be in serious jeopardy.

Planned Parenthood Puts Its Mouth Where Its Money is this Election

The abortion industry has gone all in this election. Big abortion knows that its bottom line is directly connected to the politics of abortion.

Elect pro-abortion candidates who will deregulate dangerous abortion practices and their bottom line goes up. Elect pro-life candidates who will place even the most commonsense limitations on abortion and enact reforms to protect women and their bottom line goes down.

So the abortion industry is putting its mouth where its money is.

Life Prevails Despite Supreme Court Denial of Review in Pro-Life Pregnancy Center Case

Today, the Supreme Court declined to weigh into a case that had the potential to cripple or even shut down pro-life pregnancy centers in New York City.

Thankfully, the ruling of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in Evergreen Association v. City of New York, which now stands as the final arbiter of the case, struck down two of three of the provisions of the law that we at the ACLJ challenged as unconstitutional. Though that court stopped short of striking the entire law, it now stands as merely a shell of the law initially proposed by abortion radicals to shutdown the lifesaving work of pro-life pregnancy centers.

Elections Have Consequences So Don’t Bury Your Vote

On a near daily basis, we receive a number of callers into our daily radio program at the ACLJ , Jay Sekulow Live!, rightfully upset about the most recent appalling Executive overreach by the President or devastating vote in the Senate or House of Representatives.

The question always comes up: “Isn’t there something we can do to stop this outrage?”

Our Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow’s answer is always the same. “Elections have consequences.”

And we’re the ones to blame for those consequences.

There’s No Such Thing as a “Self-Radicalized” Islamic Terrorist

It’s a term you are bound to hear a lot of, along with “lone wolf” and “recent convert to Islam,” in the wake of two separate terrorist attacks in Canada and one in New York City last week.

Yet there is no such thing, and the label, more than mere semantics, trivializes and belies the reality we face.

Federal Court Puts Road Block in the Way of Justice for Conservatives Targeted by the IRS

The fight for justice is never the easy road, and it doesn’t always win the first round.

Yesterday a federal district court dismissed two lawsuits (at least a majority of the claims) brought on behalf of conservative groups who were targeted by the IRS.

Unfortunately, the court’s ruling is based on what we believe is a mistaken interpretation of the law that would allow corruption to continue unfettered at the highest levels of federal government and deny justice to those who had their constitutional rights violated.

Canada Comes Face to Face with ISIS and Radical Islamic Jihadist Terror

It was only a matter of time, but now Canada, a strong ally of the United States and freedom, has been struck with the brutal reality of radical Islamic jihadist terror.

This week not one but two separate terrorist attacks on Canada’s military personnel have ravished the country.
