The one thing we all seem to agree on here is that changes must be made. And we're going to spend the next couple of years deciding what they're going to be. I say first thing, we oust Karl Rove. Business Insider has a column today that Rove was using Rick Santorum as a stalking horse for Romney. According to them, Rove encouraged Republicans to contribute to Santorum and kept his campaign alive, funding him to "run for governor of Iowa" in an attempt to first take out Rick Perry and then Newt Gingrich. After Gingrich was done, he pulled the plug.
Is there any truth to this? Can anyone on this site that actually KNOWS what goes on behind the closed doors of the GOP verify?
Regardless, after the embarassing election night meltdown on Fox (that liberals are using to highten their own schadenfreude) Rove needs to go. We've listened to him to the detriment of our party and our country.
